Our societies face intertwined ecological and social crises. Scientific research helps us understand these crises - but how can we act? Join Dr. Julia as she covers the links between science, advocacy, and activism.
Do scientists have a special responsibility as knowledge-bearers and whistleblowers to participate in advocacy and activism? Can science get the word out without activism?
Dr. Julia will offer many perspectives on different types of action alongside the theory of change for each, allowing us to gauge their effectiveness.
This is a Keynote address for Terra.do's Learning For Action program.
