Daniel Hill is the Director of Business and Innovation at Environmental Defense Fund, where he works to accelerate climate innovation within companies, and he oversees EDF’s internal innovation incubator. Daniel also leads initiatives to help others pursue a climate career, including being the creator of the #OpenDoorClimate movement and hosting the Degrees Podcast mini-series The Year of the Climate Job. Previously, Daniel cofounded and led Green Impact Campaign, an environmental nonprofit that empowered students to help local businesses save energy through energy audits. He has five years of experience as an energy and corporate sustainability consultant and is a former Echoing Green Climate fellow, Clean Energy Leadership Institute fellow, and recipient of Alliance to Save Energy’s Rising Star of Energy Efficiency.
Climate Innovation in Corporations will review the role of climate innovation within corporate sustainability and explore how to create the conditions that foster the development of climate solutions in a company. You’ll learn the key levers of climate innovation available both within and external to a company such as innovation labs and industry collaborations.
